Danny's Lock & Key, Locksmith Services, Cleveland Georgia

About Us

Two brothers from this community, running a family owned mobile locksmith shop out of Cleveland, Georgia. We live here, and most of the people we work for are neighbors.

Who you are calling

When you ring that number, one of us answers it. There is no dispatcher and no queue. The same two people who take the call are the ones who load the van and turn up at your door.

The shop at 8802 Duncan Bridge Rd is a base of operations rather than a storefront, so nearly every job happens at your car or your front door. Some customers would rather meet us at the shop for key duplication or a pickup. Call ahead and we will be there.

Not the Buford shop

There is an unrelated business with a similar name operating near Buford, Georgia. We are not affiliated with them. If you are looking for the locksmith in Cleveland and White County, you are in the right place, and our number is (706) 968-0675.

Hours

Weekdays 9 AM to 5 PM. Saturday 12 PM to 4 PM. Sunday closed.

Outside these hours, text us any time. We read every message.

Questions we get a lot
Do you come to me, or do I come to you?
We are a fully mobile locksmith. We come to your car, home, or business anywhere in our service area. We do keep a shop at 8802 Duncan Bridge Rd in Cleveland, and some customers prefer to meet us there for key duplication or pickups. Either works.
Can you make a car key if I lost every single one?
Yes. That is called an all-keys-lost job and it is routine for us. We originate a new key from the vehicle itself, cut it, and program it on site, with no tow to a dealership. Bring proof that the vehicle is yours.
How much does a replacement car key cost?
It depends a great deal on the year, make, and model. A basic transponder key and a push-to-start proximity fob are very different jobs. Tell us the year, make, and model when you call and we will quote you a firm price before we drive out.
What areas do you serve?
All of White County including Cleveland, Helen, and Sautee Nacoochee, plus Dahlonega in Lumpkin County and Clarkesville, Demorest, Cornelia, and Alto in Habersham County. If you are just outside that, call and ask. We often can.
Is it cheaper to rekey a lock or replace it?
Rekeying is almost always cheaper, and for most situations it accomplishes the same thing: old keys stop working. Replace the lock when the hardware is damaged or you want a genuine security upgrade.
What should I ask before someone starts work?
Ask for a firm total up front, and check that it includes the trip and not only the labor. Ask whether the person arriving works for the company. It is also worth picking somebody with a local address you can look up. That holds for us as well as anyone.
