How this website handles your information, in plain words.

The short version
We collect what you type into the one form on this site, and nothing else. There are no cookies on this website, no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third party trackers. We do not sell or rent anyone's information, and we never will.
What we collect
If you fill in the Check My Vehicle form, we receive the name, phone number and vehicle details you enter, along with the town or landmark if you choose to give one. All of those fields are there because we need them to quote and do the job. The only field you can skip is the location.
Alongside those answers, our host records the network address and browser the form was sent from. That is automatic, it is used to catch junk submissions, and we do not use it to identify anyone.
Our host also keeps ordinary server records of visits, such as the page requested and the time. That happens on every website and we do not combine it with anything else.
What we do not collect
We do not place cookies. We do not run Google Analytics or any other analytics. There is no Meta pixel and no advertising tag. The fonts on this site are served from our own domain rather than from a third party, so simply reading these pages does not report your visit to anybody else. If you click through to our Facebook page or our Google listing, those are ordinary links and you are then on their site under their terms, not ours.
How we use it
To reply to you, to quote your job, to get to the right place, and to keep a record of work we have done. Nothing else. We do not add you to a mailing list, because we do not have one.
Calls and texts
When you send us your phone number through the form, you are asking us to get back to you, so we will call or text you about that request. We do not send marketing or promotional texts, and we will not add your number to any campaign. If you would rather we stopped contacting you, say so in a reply and that is the end of it. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply.
Who else sees it
The website is hosted by Netlify, and form submissions pass through and are stored by Netlify so that we can read them. They act as our service provider and not on their own behalf. Beyond that, nobody. We do not share your details with lead brokers, directories, or other companies.
How long we keep it
Form submissions are kept while they are useful for quoting and for our records of work carried out, and are deleted once they are not. If you want yours removed sooner, call or text and we will do it.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call or text (706) 968-0675, or write to us at the shop address below, and we will deal with it. You do not have to give a reason, and it costs nothing. If you would rather not use the form at all, calling or texting works just as well and leaves no record on this website.
Children
This is a locksmith business and the site is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under thirteen. If you believe a child has sent us something, tell us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection, and form submissions travel encrypted to our host. No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise, but we keep the amount of information we hold small on purpose, which is the most effective protection there is.
Changes
If we change how this site handles information, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated. We will not quietly start collecting more than we say here.
